[Your Life, Your Boat, Your Bearing]
Ah yes, I have decided to blog in English again, at least for the moment. For I fear Tariq might just hired an assassin all the way from U.S. to silence me to save him the agony of not be able to understand my Chinese entries. So bro no worries now =)
For some of my friends who are still concerned over my well-being, be rest assured that I am fine now. Been through some rough patches, yes, but I have since picked up myself again. I am still the same old Jeff (some says Jeffrey though). It’s never been easy, I admit. Feel like the weather just turns bad on you (and just for the fun of it…the tormenting weather just carry on a bit longer than expected). No matter how bad the weather is, like all things, it cannot last forever. Sunshine bound to appear somehow. Yups! I am alive and kicking and Running.
Yes, you heard me right, trust your eyes, Running. I have just started my running regime with Mervyn (my official running partner). Although, today is just the 2nd run, I see more coming. Oh and the timing improves. 4km run on day 1 was 35min, day 2 was 27min. Not much but there is some results. Felt good, and my Life rejuvenated.
Yes, Life is like steering a boat in the middle of the ocean. Sometime you get lost and don’t know what to do. Sometime you get your bearing right and you carry on your journey. Sometime you get fine weather, other days bad weather. Sometime you meet people who are suffering from bad weather and you lend your helping hand. Sometime people see that you are suffering from bad weather and they try to topple your boat. Sometime you see friends, sometime you see enemies. Sometime you meet someone who is willing to follow your bearing, and carry on the journey with you. Sometime, the bearing changes.
I have found my bearing in Life.
Have you found yours yet?

[Friendster Horoscope for June 4, 2006]
A fortunate meeting
defined by fate and revealed by destiny
an enchanting moment
beyond the realm of reason
cunningly disguised in direst circumstances
whose touch is visible only to poetic souls
It
chooses its own time and place
evermore pretentious of its purpose
crossing its hollowed path is futile
even frustrating
to willing victims
coz it doesn't bend its will to ones desire
Teasing a consoled mind
to go astray
that's always a part of the plan
yet it likewise reassures us to hold on to believe in DESTINY
and
to let fate guide us on our journey
I am a willing victim to its wicked ploy
battling
confusion, doubt and pain with a fragile sword
hanging on to a flicker of hope left inside me
coz I believe in my
DESTINY
I believe in you.
